World EBHC Day 2026 explores the role of artificial intelligence in evidence-based healthcare, and how people can remain at the centre of how AI is developed, used, governed and evaluated in health decision-making.
AI is already changing how health evidence is produced, shared and applied. It offers new opportunities to make evidence more timely, accessible and responsive, but also raises important questions about trust, equity, ethics, transparency and rigour.
The 2026 campaign invites the global evidence community to share insights, experiences, challenges, innovations and lessons learned on AI and evidence-based healthcare. You or your organisation can get involved by submitting a blog, contributing a short video, hosting an event or supporting the campaign through your networks.
By taking part in eligible campaign activities, you or your organisation may also be recognised as a World EBHC Day Evidence Ambassador.

Evidence Ambassadors will receive a digital campaign pack with guidance on how to engage with the 2026 theme and ready-to-use resources for web, email and social media promotion.
