2023 World EBHC Day campaign partners collaborate with the World EBHC Day partners and contribute to developing, strengthening and broadening the reach of the campaign, Evidence and Global Health Equity, with their unique expertise, knowledge and resources.
The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) develops evidence on how to effectively transform the lives of the poor in low- and middle-income countries. Established in 2008, we offer comprehensive support and a diversity of approaches to achieve development goals by producing, synthesizing and promoting the uptake of impact evaluation evidence. We work closely with governments, foundations, NGOs, development institutions and research organizations to address their decision-making needs. With offices in Washington DC, New Delhi and London and a global network of leading researchers, we offer deep expertise across our extensive menu of evaluation services.
University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) located in rural northern Rwanda is an initiative of Partners In Health. Launched in 2015, UGHE aims to transform global health delivery by reimagining medical education and global health delivery. Its mission is to build the next generation of global health professionals who will ensure quality health care reaches every individual on the globe. UGHE focuses on community-based learning, social determinants of health, and innovations in implementation science to provide students with the tools needed to repair inequitable health systems. Beyond creating a community of intellectuals, UGHE is building a community of practitioners by focusing on implementation science, problem-solving research, innovative pedagogy, and intensive mentorship with its network of world-class faculty.
eBASE Africa is an international charity registered in Cameroon working to make basic services more effective by ensuring the best available research evidence is applied in service delivery. eBASE work across the evidence ecosystem – project implementation, primary research, evidence synthesis, evidence translation, and evidence implementation. eBASE’s mission is to make basic services, health, and education especially, more effective through the use of the best available evidence and technology within the evidence ecosystem.

The George Institute for Global Health is an independent medical research institute aiming to improve the health of millions of people worldwide by generating effective, evidence-based and affordable solutions to the world’s biggest health challenges. Established in Sydney, with major centres in China, India and the UK, it has projects in more than 45 countries and affiliations with world-class universities. In 2018, The George Institute was ranked the number-one independent research institute in Australia by Times Higher Education.
The institute has a global Meta-research & Evidence Synthesis Unit, which focusses on conducting 'fit for purpose' evidence synthesis and meta-research to promote the use of evidence in healthcare decision making and improve the quality and conduct of primary research and evidence synthesis.
Healthcare Information For All (HIFA) is a global community of practice that aims to reduce avoidable death and suffering by improving the availability and use of reliable healthcare information and protecting people from misinformation. HIFA has 20,000 members from 180 countries representing all stakeholders in the global evidence ecosystem. They share experience and expertise on how to improve availability and use, interacting on virtual forums in four languages (English, French, Portuguese, Spanish). HIFA is officially supported by more than 400 organisations worldwide and is administered by Global Healthcare Information Network, a UK-based non-governmental organisation in official relations with WHO since 2022.
